Like all special sets, you won’t be able to purchase individual booster packs of Prismatic Evolutions. The packs will only be available in the special boxed products above.

Prismatic Evolutions will feature cards from Japan’s Terastal Festival ex, which will release on December 6th. The set will be headlined by Eevee and its Terastallized Evolutions.

Our set might also include some cards from November 22nd’s ex Starter Deck Generations. The decks feature 18 beginner-level Pokemon ex, including a Legendary Pokemon from each generation.

To celebrate the release of Surging Sparks on November 8th, we will be getting four store promos this time instead of two! The promos will also serve to promote Pokemon Horizons, so they will not feature a GameStop stamp or set logo.

GameStop will give away Sprigatito and Terapagos, Best Buy will give away Fuecoco and Terapagos, and the Pokemon Center will give away Quaxly and Terapagos. You will get one promo when spending $15 or more on set purchases.

The cards come from Surging Sparks except for Sprigatito, who comes from Paldea Evolved. All four Pokemon are central characters in the Pokemon Horizons anime.

On the same November 8th date, the Pokemon Horizons Grand Adventure Collection will also release in stores. This is probably why the Surging Sparks store promos are anime-themed this time.

The promo giveaways will also be available at stores in Canada and Australia. Oddly, Quaxly will not be available.

  • Canada: Terapagos and Sprigatito (GameStop), Terapagos and Fuecoco (Toys”R”Us)

  • Australia: Terapagos and Sprigatito (EB Games), Terapagos and Fuecoco (JB Hi-Fi)

Japan’s special Terastal Festival ex set has officially been revealed — starring the Eeveelutions! The set was first teased last week with the reveal of Tera Eevee ex.

Terastal Festival ex will release on December 6th in Japan. We first discovered its trademark on June 5th and posted it would feature the Eeveelutions on June 25th.

The set will contain 187 cards before secret rares.

Since this is Japan’s annual “High Class Pack” set, its main attraction will be its enormous amount of alternate art secret rares. For example, last year’s Shiny Treasure ex featured 190 cards in its main set and a whopping 170 secret rares. None have been revealed so far.

Each Terastal Festival ex booster pack will contain 10 cards instead of the usual five, including a guaranteed Pokemon ex. The larger packs, guaranteed hits, and secret rares are what define a “High Class Pack” set.

Terastal Festival will feature special reverse holo cards with a “cracked ice” layer and Poke Balls in the background.

As with all High Class sets, Terastal Festival ex‘s main set will mostly contain reprinted cards and maybe 15-30 brand new cards. This helps to ensure cards from the last year are available to Japanese players.

It will also include alternate arts that released first in other languages, such as Korea’s Ogerpon ex and our English prerelease promos.

This month was also revealed Prismatic Evolution will be our special English set releasing on January 17th. Our set will undoubtedly use the cards from Terastal Festival ex and perhaps those from ex Starter Deck Generations.
